Refund Policy

At Viewpoint Horizons, we are committed to providing transparent and fair refund procedures for all our travel services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for bookings made through our website, www.viewpointhorizons.com.

1. Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all services booked directly through Viewpoint Horizons, including package tours, hotel reservations, transfers, activities and excursions, and travel consultation services. Please note that services provided by third-party partners (e.g., airlines, hotels) may have their own refund terms, which will be communicated to you during the booking process.

2. General Refund Conditions

Refund eligibility is determined by the type of service, the provider’s cancellation policy, and the timing of your cancellation. In general:

  • Refunds are processed only for cancellations made within the allowed period stated in your booking confirmation.

  • A written cancellation request must be sent to info@viewpointhorizons.com.

  • Any non-refundable deposits or third-party service fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • If eligible, refunds are typically issued within 14 business days of cancellation confirmation.

3. Specific Cancellation and Refund Policies by Service Type

a. Custom Tours & Itineraries

  • Fully refundable if canceled at least 30 days before departure.

  • 50% refund if canceled 15–29 days before departure.

  • Non-refundable if canceled less than 15 days before departure, except in cases of force majeure (as detailed in Section 5).

b. Standard Group Tours

  • Free cancellation up to 21 days before departure.

  • 70% refund if canceled 7–20 days before departure.

  • No refund if canceled less than 7 days before departure.

c. Hotel Bookings

  • Refund terms are dependent on the specific hotel’s policy, which will be fully communicated to you before payment.

  • Non-refundable hotel rates cannot be refunded under any circumstances unless expressly permitted by the hotel.

d. Activities & Excursions

  • Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before the start time, unless otherwise specified.

  • No refund will be issued for no-shows or late arrivals.

e. Consulting or Digital Services

  • Fully refundable if canceled before service delivery.

  • Non-refundable once the consultation or service has been rendered.

4. Booking Errors or Involuntary Cancellations by Viewpoint Horizons

If a cancellation occurs due to an error on our part (e.g., a double booking or service unavailability), you are entitled to either a full refund or an alternative service of equal value, based on your choice.

5. Force Majeure

No refunds will be issued for cancellations caused by events beyond our control. These events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, government travel restrictions, pandemic outbreaks, political unrest, or airline strikes. In such circumstances, we will endeavor to reschedule your service or provide a credit voucher for future travel.

6. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Email your refund request to info@viewpointhorizons.com.

  • Include your booking ID, full name, and the reason for cancellation in your email.

  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.

  • If your refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method.

Please be aware that all refunds are subject to currency exchange rate fluctuations and bank processing times, which may vary by region.
